O projeto ABC do Abridor é uma mostra da diversidade de estilos da "letra decorativa amazônica", identificada nos letreiros coloridos dos barcos que navegam pelos rios da Amazônia. Tem apoio da Lei Aldir Blanc (nº 14.017, de 29 de junho de 2020) implementado através do edital de Pontos e Pontões de Cultura da Secult/PA.
O projeto Letras que flutuam, que pesquisa e divulga este saber há mais de uma década, apresenta este abecedário respondendo à necessidade de reunir em um só local os diferentes estilos de letras executados pelos abridores de letras, os artistas que resguardam e desenvolvem esse saber, que é transmitido entre gerações.
The "ABC do Abridor" project is a showcase of the diversity of styles of the "Amazonian decorative letter", identified in the colorful signs of the boats that sail the rivers of the Amazon. It is supported by Aldir Blanc Law (nº 14.017 from june, 29th 2020) through the Pontos e Pontões de Cultura award, executed by SECULT-PA.
The project Letras que flutuam, that researches and promotes this knowledge for more than a decade, presents this abecedarium in response to the need to bring together, in a single place, the different letter styles executed by the "Abridores" (letter openers), the artists who preserve this knowledge, passed down through generations.
